| Lainio Snow Village is located between Ylläsjarvi and Kittilä. About 20 mins drive from Kittilä Airport and 15 minutes from Ylläsjarvi, Lainio Snow Village is easy to find no matter if you arrive by car, snowmobile or skiing. Every track in the woods passes the Lainio area. Inside the walls of the Snow Village there is an Ice Bar, Snow Hote, a maze, art gallery, dlides for children and lots of ice and snow sculptures in the courtyuard. Everything is made entirely of snow and ice. The Snow Hotel has seven igloo shaped rooms. Outside the village walls there is the possibility for optional activities, including husky dog sleigh rides, reindeer rides, horse sleigh rides, Lapland ceremonies, snowmobiles, skiing, snow shoe trips etc. The addituional value to Lainio Snow Village is the surrounding area near the village. In Lainio there is the Krouvi restaurant which can be requested for receptions and is also within easy access to the Snow Village.
